This position works a typical onsite schedule of 4 weekdays and 1 weekend day, along with coverage needed as a leader.

Qualifications of an ideal Culinary Service Director:
- Culinary degree
- Certificate in food service supervision and Serve Safe Certification
- Preferred additional certification in restaurant sanitation
- At least 3 years of progressively responsible work experience in the senior living industry or related high-volume, high-end food service environment.
Culinary Director Job Summary:
Key responsibilities include menu planning and execution in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations; maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, nutrition, and portion control; managing inventory and ordering; and ensuring proper sanitation and HACCP documentation. The Executive Chef/Culinary Service Director works alongside kitchen staff on the line to provide training, quality control, and operational support.
