Qualifications of an ideal Independent Living Hospitality Director:

  • Combination of education and/or experience working with Seniors
  • 2-3 years of experience in Senior Living as an Assistant Executive Director or Business Office Director

Independent Living Hospitality Director Job Summary:

Independent Living Hospitality Director is the department head responsible for overseeing services for Independent Living residents and associates, serving as the primary leader for the Independent Living neighborhood.

  • Implement mission, vision, and goals of the organization, upholding and promoting company culture and vision.
  • Plan, implement, coordinate, and evaluate the provision of high-quality policies, services and programs needed and/or desired by the IL Residents. 
  • Maintain Resident satisfaction through ongoing solicitation and measurement of Resident feedback, through various platforms. 
  • Take the initiative to actively plan, develop, and implement expansion and/or innovation in program services.
  • Manage and address the communities first Impressions including completing the First Impressions Tool according to standards.
  • Direct supervision of Concierges
  • Cross-functional support of the housekeepers and life engagement associates serving Independent Living
  • Cross-functional support of IL Life Engagement & Transportation Programs in collaboration with the LED
